Sherri’s Appeal to the Supreme Court February 11, 2010

Hi to ALL my friends that are following Arabella’s Law,

Sherri’s Appeal was heard on 2/11/10 at 10:30 at the Regional Justice Center, Las Vegas, NV. Her public defender, Nancy Lemcke, was outstanding. Nancy noted 17 references from the court trial. It was made clear to the Judges that Sherri had no defense whatsoever from any of the Doctors that had diagnosed her. Now it is just a matter of time until the court makes a decision. I still intend to get Arabella;s Law passed in Nevada, however, as we are all aware, the economy will be a deterrent.

Darcy did such an outstanding report on July 16 and 17, 09 on Sherri Love and Arabella’s Law.

I hope that everyone was able to see the shows. Thanks to all, we need to get Arabella’s Law passed in NV.

AB368 Arabella’s Law was not passed

The bill was passed by the assembly in the 2009 NV legislature, however, did not make it through the senate.

On 6-8-09, an article in the LV Sun by Timothy Pratt states that area’s mentally ill fill ER beds. On 6-9-09 an article editorial in the LV Sun backed up the fact that NV basically has no help for mental illness.

With alot of help I intend to get this bill passed in 2011.
