Sherri went to Court on Monday, the 23rd day of June 2008. On Thursday, June 26th, the case was given to the jury at noon. As I left the court, I saw that lunch was delivered to the jury. They took less than 45 minutes to find her guilty of all charges in the first degree. |
Three Doctors had given testimony confirming her mental illness and the amount of drugs in her system.
Sherri had checked herself into rehab at Rose Di Lima Hospital in November 2006, and again the end of January 2007. She killed Arabella three days after leaving the rehab at Valley Hospital.
The police were called to Sherri’s home twice that day. Even though Brian’s and Arabella’s father was there to pick them up, as well as their older brother, Michael, the police would not allow Brian and Arabella to go with their father.
The police testified that they left the house at 5:30 PM and that Sherri was “fine”. However, one half hour later she killed Arabella.
